Missing the sunshine? These travel destinations stay warm all year

We’re all familiar with those cold weather blues – the ones where we come down from a beautifully warm summer, and spiral into sadness when the wind and rain start returning. Fortunately, some beautiful vacation destinations stay pretty hot all year round. Now doesn’t that sound blissful? Here are some of the best places to travel if you’re missing that warm summer sun.

Cape Verde

The Cape Verde Islands are just off of the northwest coast of Africa and boast unique culture and history. Most importantly, however, the sun shines almost permanently, with temperatures ranging from 70°F to 85°F, no matter what time of year you visit. The coldest you’ll ever find the islands during the day is a mild 61°F, which we’d say is definitely better than New York City’s 30°F.

Rio De Janeiro

Rio is the largest city in Brazil and is full of bold colors and bustling life. Its famous for its beaches, carnivals, and nightlife, meaning it has something for everyone. Not to mention, of course, that it never gets cold. Temperatures range from 63°F in August, to 85°F in January. Though not as hot as some other places, it’s definitely a perfect destination for when you’re avoiding the cold winter.

Hawaii

As you’re probably well aware, Hawaii, at home in the U.S., is well-known for its all year long sun. Hawaii is plastered with beautiful waterfalls, heated tide pools, and even golf courses. With lows of 68°F and highs of 84°F, Hawaii is the perfect destination for anyone who never wants to say goodbye to the warm summer sun.

Dubai

Dubai is a popular city in the United Arab Emirates. Full of luxurious resorts, malls, and nightlife, Dubai has been a favorite tourist destination for many years. The modern city is not only ideal for those who love a busy life, but also for anyone missing the sunshine. Dubai ranges from 57°F to a staggering 106°F in August. If you want excitement, culture, and heat, Dubai’s for you.

Maldives

The Republic of Maldives is a South Asian island, situated in the Indian Ocean. Tourists travel to the Maldives all year round for its stunning views, crystal clear ocean, and activities, such as scuba diving and snorkeling. The Maldives are never cold, with lows of an impressive 75°F in November, and temperatures creeping up to 88°F during April.

Paphos

Paphos, on the southwest coast of Cyprus, is another sunny travel destination. Although much cooler than the others, with lows reaching just 46°F, Paphos encompasses beauty, relaxation, and culture, all in one small city. In July, temperatures can reach 86°F, making it warm all year round, in comparison to many of our homelands, while not being overly hot, like Dubai’s 106°F might be.
Some people prefer winter over summer, if not for the chances of snow, but sometimes actually just for the cold weather. Some people can cope better with freezing climates than warm ones, but, if you’re like us, and would love for it to be sunny every day of the year, then why not check out one of these eternally warm destinations?
