Speaking of shame, here we go again with advertisers praying upon the insecurity of women. This was nothing new at this point, nor is it something that is completely gone these days, but this is a particularly egregious example. They literally included a comic of an emaciated girl in order to convince women that being skinny wasn’t attractive.
Pictures like this really highlight just how ridiculous the body standards are for women. While they are slightly better now than they used to be, they are still pretty darn bad.
