The world's most eligible female billionaires

When we think of billionaires, we usually expect to see business savvy people who have worked hard to get to where they are now. But, this isn’t always the case. Some people in this world are fortunate enough to inherit their billionaire status – confirming that money might actually grow on (family) trees! Some people also might have an innate business brain and be able to hop on this financial train by getting their business noticed at just the right time.

As the great-great-granddaughter of John D. Rockefeller, who has been regularly considered to be the wealthiest American of all time, Ariana Rockefeller was born into the right family. Her last name was bound to bring her into a very fortunate position. The 32-year-old billionaire hasn’t taken her surname for granted and follows in the footsteps of her ancestors. It is no surprise that she owned her own brand from a very young age. But, she hasn’t just scrounged off of her last name, she has worked pretty hard too. The young Rockefeller interned at the United Nations, and later graduated from Columbia University, where she obtained a Bachelor of Political Science. Ariana allegedly regularly says that she is aware of her ancestors questionable past, but she is the new generation of Rockefellers – and she wants to change the world. There is no stopping this determined lady.
